My Opinion About MalesOnline:
Big cocks, hot guys and tons of sex, what more could you ask for from a gay porn site? Well, there are a few things, but Males Online is a video archive site, so whatever your type of guy or kink, you're bound to find it inside the members' area.
There are 10 video categories. Hardcore is the one that is brimming with selections, but there are a few bear, twink and ebony films as well as a touch of BDSM and leather. When you arrive on the MalesOnline members' page you'll immediately see the featured videos. There are three movies profiled every day, but this doesn't represent the number of updates. There aren't any content dates on the videos, but all the photos are dated and judging from this I think it's safe to bet on two to four updates every month.
Currently, members get access to 90 sets of photos and 170 full, two-hour DVDs. It's a small amount for an archive, but the amount of titles translates into 548 scenes. Each scene is around 20 minutes long, so it's still more content than most exclusive sites. There are also four additional DVD sites, but all four (AbsolutelyMale, NastyBoys, TwinkSexFlix and XXXBlackMen4U) share many of the same titles. On the other hand, each archive has its own specialty like ebony men or 18 to 21 year olds for example.
The photos are very good. Sets usually contain an average of 150 images. These are typically crisp 1200x800 shots of solo men or hardcore scenes. Bears and muscle-bound beefcake appear to be featured in well-lit glamour-style sets while the twinks tend to appear in more or less amateur sets. You can add the sets to an online favourites folder, but there aren't any Zip downloads. There are definitely some keeper sets, but you'll have to save each image one at a time.
Navigation could be improved here. It's easy enough to find the categories, there are also lists of studios and pornstars. However, you can't look up video series, look for content by update or rating and there isn't a keyword search, either. Some of the video series include 'Brazilians do it Better' and 'Man Whores'. Nearly all the DVDs are available in higher-definition. However, the oldest movies, and thankfully there aren't a whole lot of them, are not. Higher definition films include Flash streams and WMV (2000kbps, 720x480) downloads. There are lower quality MP4 (300kbps) and 3GP (56kbps) options and these are best for mobile devices or at least for those with slow connections. Images generally look good, but it truly depends on the original quality of the videos. Cock-sucking, fucking and masturbation are pretty much the standard around here.
Final Verdict:
Aside from 12 leather and one BDSM title, there isn't a whole lot of fetish content for the really kinky. Males Online is a relatively small archive if you compare it to others, but there is still quite a bit to get off on. Still, I can't help but think that this archive is a bit on the average side and it doesn't help that many titles are repeated on the bonus sites. It's ultimately up to you, but I personally wouldn't consider this my favourite gay video archive.
